The Maybelline model opens up about her diet, inspiration and make-up must-have...
You've probably read our 20 Questions with Marloes Horst, haven't you? So you'll already know that mega model and mega babe Marloes loves her make-up, maintains her body with hiking and oodles of green tea and named her dog after Frank Sinatra. But you may not know that Marloes is a chatty, easy-going sort who likes nothing more than enthusing about mascara and how LA is a great place to live. For that, you'll have to watch this behind the scenes video at our shoot in New York... (spoiler: you're likely to suffer from a touch of body envy as we all did - don't watch while gorging!).
A bit of context: despite Marloes having to don little two pieces for the majority of the day, it happened to fall on one of the coldest days on record in New York. The morning before heading to the studio our Beauty & Style Director Lisa Oxenham nipped outside to make a phone call from the roof of the Mondrian with wet hair only to find it had frozen solid after all of two minutes outside. So: cold. Mighty cold. Good thing then that Horst is a seasoned pro and just shimmied out of her layers and into the tiny outfits without so much as batting an eyelid.
Weather aside, it all went swimmingly - we all had a bit of a Maybelline love-in (the mascara Marloes relies on every day was a unanimous favourite among all present at the shoot), ate snacks galore (yes - even Marloes couldn't resist the warm, gooey, chocolatey cookies) and finished in time to make a couple of fashion week parties. While you'll have to wait a little longer for the issue with the shoot in to hit the shelves, in the meantime, here's the video. Enjoy!
