Although one of the less trend focussed accessories, timepieces do still change seasonally. Baselworld in the largest watch show in the world, showcasing the best watches and attended by buyers and fashion editors the world over. According to our fashion editor, gender neutral watches was one of the biggest trends for this season, with pieces staying pared back to appeal to men and women alike. Smaller faces are also a big trend, so if a dainty timepiece suits your aesthetic better you'll be spoilt for choice.
Whist metallic pieces will always be in fashion, colour in watches is now a trend that isn't only reserved for your sports watch. High end brands as well as less expensive ones are starting to incorporate more colour into their watches. To really stay on trend, go for a coloured face - blue or green specifically- with a tonal coloured strap. Besides blues or greens, pastels are another hot trend showcased by some of the best watch brands this season.
Once you've decided on the style that best suits you, your budget will be the biggest deciding factor. Fortunately more affordable brands have upped their style game in the last few years- we've even found some amazing styles for less than £100. But if you're looking to make an investment in a lifelong timepiece, we have you (and your wristgame) covered too!
