Simon Cowell (born 1959) is a man who needs no introduction. TV personality, entrepreneur, producer and A&R executive, Cowell is renowned all over the world for Pop Idol, The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and American Idol where his outspoken jibes and often-harsh criticism towards the contestants regularly spark controversy amongst his fellow judges and viewers alike. The Syco boss is estimated to have a fortune of £200 million in the Sunday Times Rich List of 2011, making him the sixth richest person in the British music industry.
