Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet was brought up in Berkshire and made her film debut in 1994 flick Heavenly Creatures. But she hit the big time working with fellow Brit stars Emma Thompson, High Grant and Greg Wise in 1995's Sense and Sensibility before going on to bag the role in Titanic with the lovely Leo DiCaprio - and catapulting herself into the A-List in the process. Kate won an Oscar for The Reader (2008) and an Emmy Award for her role as Mildred Pierce in 2011. She narrated the documentary A Mother's Courage: Talking Back to Autism, in 2010 and went on to set up the non-profit organisation, the Golden Hat Foundation to help eliminate barriers for people with autism with the help of her celebrity mates (see pics!). Kate has two children, Mia Honey (with ex husband Jim Threapleton) and Joe Alfie (with ex husband Sam Mendes).
