In her latest YouTube video, the designer shows how truly hectic these events can get
Simultaneously with organising her London Fashion Week show last month, Victoria Beckham announced that she was launching her own YouTube channel. Giving fans insights into her everyday life, she is going to share videos about everything from fashion to beauty, and even her family.
A few videos have already gone live on the channel since February, mostly with behind-the-scenes footage of what really went on backstage at her AW19 fashion show in London.
In one of the episodes, which is now going viral for a very good reason, the designer illustrates how truly hectic these events can get, mentioning that she had to hand over her own bra to one of the models mid-way through her fashion show. ‘Literally just had to give my bra to one of the girls,’ she tells the camera as she readjusts her white polka dot blouse and camel jumper.
After the show, which took place at Tate Britain, VB told Vogue that her friend Derek Blasberg, who was recently appointed as YouTube’s fashion and beauty director, is the one who approached her with the idea of starting a channel on the social media site.
‘When Derek approached me, I thought it would be a great opportunity to educate myself and really understand the platform,’ she said. ‘I think you’ll get the opportunity to see the real me: me at work, me with the kids and what it’s like being a working mum.’
As if we needed another reason to love Victoria Beckham.
