This Little Girl's Response To Someone Calling Her 'Ugly' Is Spot-On
We wish we'd had this much sass when we were little.

We wish we'd had this much sass when we were little.
Prepare to be inspired by this four-year-old girl's sass. In a video, that went viral over the weekend, Siahj, who goes by the name Cici, recalls what she said when a mean boy in her class told her she was ugly.
Cici's mum, Sonya Antoine, uploaded the video of her quick-witted comeback on Facbook. It goes something like this:
'What happened in school today?' asks her mum. 'A little boy said I looked ... ugly,' Cici says.
'And what did you say?' Cici's mum asks.
'I said, "I didn't come here to make a fashion statement. I came here to learn, not look pretty,"' Cici replies, adding, 'The little boy said I looked "bad," and I said, "Did you look in a mirror lately? Bye bye, see you later, you're making me mad."'
What a star.

We can all learn something from little Cici. And her mum, Sonya. She told Today.com, when they managed to track her down, that she makes sure her daughter has her priorities right. 'I want Cici to know that beauty is only skin deep and it's what's on the inside that matters most,' she said. 'I tell her every single day, "You're the most beautiful little girl, but beauty doesn't last. Brains and good manners will take you around the world." And I have her look at herself in the mirror and repeat it like an affirmation.'
Cici and Sonya, you're an inspiration.
