This collar can translate what your cat’s meows really mean
Welcome to the future
Welcome to the future
Sooner or later we’re going to have to accept that cats are just a pair of opposable thumbs and a voice box away from taking over the world. If you don’t think it’s true just look into a cat’s eyes and you’ll see. You’ll see.
Now we have discovered that our feline friends are even closer than we thought to domination, thanks to a special collar created to translate cats’ meows. Hold the phone, that’s strange.
A team at Mars’ Temptations have created the Catterbox collar in a bid to ‘bring cats and owners together’, as studies have shown that cats meow when communicating with humans, not with each other.
OK, that doesn’t explain that cat fights we here outside our flat every night, but we’re listening.
Global brand director, Pete Simmons told Adweek: 'We've analysed these cat sounds and created a program that detects a cat's meow and matches it to a human voice.
'We then put this technology inside a sleek 3D printed collar which connects seamlessly to our app where you can choose your cat's new voice.
