This bar has found a way to save you from a terrible date

In an ideal world there would be no need bad dates - but we don't live in this dream world and probably never will. So for now, you can sneakily bail on bad dates by taking them to this bar in St Albans, which provides women with a special way out of a romantic rendezvous that makes them feel unsafe or is just plain bad.
Whether he’s turned up looking nothing like his pictures or is in fact a complete weirdo (we’ve all been there), the kind staff at The Brickyard - and hopefully many other bars in the not-so-distant-future - are there to help.
A picture of a sign from The Brickyard’s women's toilets has gone viral for the simple yet ingenious solution it offers for people who find themselves trapped on less than ideal dates.
‘Tinder date gone wrong?’ reads the sign. ‘Doesn’t look like his picture, or just plain weird?
‘If you’re on a date and it’s not going well, come to the bar and ask for Rachelle or Jennifer and we’ll get you out of it and/or get you a taxi.’
The sign goes on to encourage anyone who’s being made to feel uncomfortable by another customer at the bar to tell bar staff, so they can ask anyone being inappropriate to leave.
