A new study suggests British holiday-makers are more likely to have casual sex abroad than at home.
Women say they feel more adventurous abroad with 10 per cent of admitting to having five or more lovers during a week-long break.
'It is clear that women become much more sexually liberated when they are out of their comfort zone,' says Brandon Wade, CEO of dating website MissTravel.com, which conducted the poll.
'It shakes up your normal routine and makes everyone, not just women, much more sexually adventurous.'
The survey also found that British women are more likely to be attracted to Italian men, while 40 per cent say Greece is the most romantic holiday destination.
While the recession has had a detrimental effect on the number of people choosing to go abroad, Mr Wade says love and travel go hand-in-hand and there has been a renewed interest in romance tourism.
