NB: He really wants you to touch his soul
NB: He really wants you to touch his soul
Fancy having a chin-wag with Shia LaBeouf? Give him a buzz, he's waiting for you to 'touch his soul'.
Seriously. Call +44 (0)151 808 0771 now to ‘connect’ with LaBeouf, he's waiting by the phone.
The Hollywood actor has set up a call centre in Liverpool's Fact Gallery where he and two colloborators (Nastja Säde Rönkkö and Luke Turner) he will be taking calls from the public.
The #TOUCHMYSOUL project started at 11am on 10 December and will continue for three more days between the hours of 11am and 6pm GMT. The performance is also being live streamed at touchmysoul.net where you can also read notes the three artists are making as they go. Things like: 'what is it about your soul you want touching?' and 'have you got a soul?'
This performance follows #AllMyMovies, in which LaBeouf installed himself in a screening room and commenced to watch all 29 of the films he had ever starred in, consequtively. It took 72 hours and LaBeouf did a lot of sleeping, weeping and laughing. It was all surprisingly compelling.
Pick up the phone to be part of the maverick star's latest performance. Provided you think you can 'touch his soul', that is. Otherwise he might just hang up.
