A rainy Leicester Square welcomed a whole host of stylish stars, as they hit town for the Sherlock Holmes premiere
Rachel McAdams, Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr lead the troupe of famous faces down the rain-soaked carpet last night, for the UK premiere of the new Sherlock Holmes film.
Directed by Guy Ritchie, the film starts Robert Downey Jnr as the super sleuth, with Jude Law as his faithful side-kick Watson.

But despite two of Hollywood's leading men in the Square, the show was most definitely stolen by Miss McAdams.
Rachel swept down the sky blue carpet in a beautiful asymmetric Angrew Gn gown, which had glittering embellishments across the bodice - teamed with delicate Sutra droplet earrings and Armapali bracelets.
The starlet also chose the premiere as the stage on which to debut her newly blonde locks, which she wore swept back and into a voluminous long plait - in a style reminiscent of her early Mean Girls days of fame.

However, this being London, the stars naturally had some terrible rainy weather to contend with.
We applaud Rachel's bravery for going sans cover-up and allowing us to see her beautiful gown - but a soggy red carpet soon lead to the disasterous rain-soaked hemline, which she hitched up to reveal her t-bar Christian Louboutin shoes.
Also catching our sartorial eye on the red carpet was actress Kelly Reilly, who also stars in the Brit flick - and who was wearing an elegant Alberta Ferretti blush-coloured gown with embroidered detailing.
It was also something of a reunion for the old Primrose Hill set, as Jude Law was joined by pal Gwen Stefani - looking her standardly stylish self in a cosy LBD and statement ankle booties - and her hubbie Gavin Rossdale.
Also spotted at the high-profile premiere were Prince William, Prince Harry and Kate Middleton - who eschewed the red carpet, opting instead to make a sneaky entrance and exit through the back of the Empire cinema.
