Pro-Rape Rally Cancelled After Women’s Boxing Club Fights Back
Excellent work, ladies.
Excellent work, ladies.
Roosh V - you know, the dick behind a pro-rape, anti-women website in the US - has cancelled his pro-rape meet-up on 6th February after he met his match – a badass women’s boxing club.
Yes, the misogynist blogger, who actually suggested that raping women in private should be legalised to give us all a ‘learning experience’, has had to re-think his life choices somewhat, after The Toronto Newsgirls weighed in, promising to turn up to his rally with their gloves firmly on.
The best quote of the day comes from the boxing club’s founder Savoy Howe. ‘The photos of us [at the rally] will show women that being powerful is an option,’ she told Metro News. ‘And I think that’s what needs to happen against this douchebag.’
The funniest quote of the day, meanwhile, comes from Roosh V himself who says he was 'forced' to cancel his gathering because he could ‘no longer guarantee the safety or privacy of the men who want to attend.’ How very, very ironic.
‘I propose that we make the violent taking of a woman not punishable by law when done off public grounds,’ Roosh V wrote in one particularly disgusting blog post.
‘Bad encounters are sure to occur, but these can be learning experiences for the poorly trained woman so she can better identify in the future the type of good man who will treat her like the delicate flower that she believes she is.’

Roosh V and his handful of equally vile followers had planned to take photos of any women who turned up to protest at their event, to publish on the blog and dissect later.
If the Toronto Newsgirls Boxing Club had turned up, however, all the pictures would be of kick-ass women taking down some very weak men with bloody noses. An excellent turn of events, we think you’ll agree?
