Here’s everything to know about Rachel Bilson’s rumoured new celebrity boyfriend

Rachel Bilson is the ultimate girl next door, and whether she's playing Summer Roberts in The OC or Zoe Hart in Hart of Dixie, everyone is rooting for her.

This extends off the screen, with Rachel's fans (for better or worse) being very invested in the actress' love life.

Rachel's relationship with Adam Brody was surely her most high profile, with the OC co-stars dating both on and off screen. And while Rachel and Adam did go their separate ways, fans will always have Summer and Seth's happily ever after to hang on to.

Then the actress dated Hayden Christensen, with the former couple who share daughter Briar Rose, splitting in September 2017 after 10 years together.

Opening up about the subject recently on former Bachelor contestant Nick Viall‘s podcast, The Viall Files, Rachel explained, '[Briar] has not met anyone as of yet and it would have to be someone I know I’m going to be with. It would have to be a very serious relationship.'

'I always put it out there,' she explained. 'She’s my world and I talk about her all the time anyways. How fucked up would it be if I hid that? If you’re going to pursue something with someone, they have to be interested in the kid or be willing to be around the kid or babysit the kid … all the things. I was talking to this guy a few months back. Anytime I would bring my daughter up, [he] would never pursue the question or ask more about her. It was a red flag because anyone that you’re going to get involved with, if you have a kid, they have to be all about the kid.'

Now, following on from the podcast, there are rumours that Rachel and Nick are dating, after the two have been commenting on each other's Instagram posts.

'Will we choose to forgo our individual rooms…,' 38-year-old Nick Viall captioned a photograph of the two of them, to which Rachel Bilson commented: 'He slid into her…dms #sheaccepted.'

And it's not the first time, with the fast-friends commenting on pretty much all of each other's posts.

'Guys. I like the Rachel Bilson/Nick Viall flirting that’s going on and I 10/10 support it,' one fan posted on Twitter.
