You'll never guess how much Queen Elizabeth spends on socks

Not that money's an issue for her Majesty
Just recently we found out that the Queen actually has someone break new shoes in for her (though you would if you could, wouldn't you?) until they're comfortable enough for our Liz to walk around in.
Considering she is the Queen of England, we think she's allowed to have the right to be a bit picky and over the years she's certainly adopted a few habits. Did you know she eats this every single day? And refuses to allow these items in the royal kitchens? She's also never worn this clothing (seriously).
Well, now it's emerged that her majesty Queen Elizabeth spends a staggering amount on socks (of all things).
Whilst most of us would simply pop down to the nearest Primark for a £3.99 multi-pack, and at most treat ourselves to an M&S splurge (and only if they were on offer), Queen Elizabeth chooses to buy hers from Corgi Hosiery Ltd according to The Mirror.
We know, we're also wondering if she opts for the brand due to her love of corgi dogs.
Given that the cheapest pair of socks the brand has to offer retails at £17.99, Liz certainly does have a taste for the finer things in life. With the most expensive pair of socks retailing at an eye-watering £95, being a hand-knitted pair of cable socks aptly titled Prince of Wales.
