Having started school in September, Prince George has spent the last few months enjoying life as a full-time primary school pupil. And while he may not always want to go to school in the morning, it sounds like he's settled in just fine.
Prince William has now revealed the role Prince George had in his first ever school nativity, as well as how he got on onstage – and, spoilers, it'll make your heart hurt a little bit.
During a visit to Media City in Salford earlier today with Kate Middleton, who is expecting their third child in April, William shared the story of George's newfound career in acting. ‘I went to my boy's nativity play. It was funny,’ the soon to be dad-of-three told school children.
So which role did the third-in-line to the throne play during St Thomas's Battersea's annual nativity?
‘He was a sheep,’ his proud dad told the children.
Awwww. We bet the young royal looked adorable in his nativity costume! Although, you'd think the role of one of the three kings would be more fitting...

George recently wrote a letter to Father Christmas, which was hand delivered to the big guy in red in Finland by his dad. But when it comes to the Christmas gifts he's asking for, there's only one thing on his wish list this year – a toy police car.
Who knows, maybe Prince George will pursue a career in the theatre when he grows up before taking to the throne?
