Stop everything: Primark is launching an official Harry Potter collection
And we need it all. Now.
And we need it all. Now.
It may have been six years since the final Harry Potter film graced our screens and a whopping ten years since the seventh book was released, but for a lot of us it feels like yesterday.
For millennials who grew up with the books, we still go about life wishing we knew what Butterbeer really tasted like, resenting the fact that we never received a Hogwarts acceptance letter and taking huge offence to any person or quiz who mistakenly sorts us into Hufflepuff – we’re Gryffindor ok?
In short, Harry Potter means as much to us now as it ever did. So, we’re understandably thrilled to hear high street store Primark’s latest news.
Primark has announced its partnership with Warner Bros., launching an official Harry Potter collection next week. Yes, really.
The extensive collection will cover all departments, with HP products ranging from apparel, athleisure and pyjamas to homewear and stationary - and we're obsessed already.
If you want to turn your bedroom into a Hogwarts dormitory, there are some great (and very affordable) interiors products to browse, from hanging mirrors, wand pens and mugs to pin boards, Polyjuice potion cups and even a string of potion fairy lights.

And don't even get us started on the cushions - we don't know which design we need more, the cushion shaped like Harry's acceptance letter or the fluffy one shaped like Hedwig.
In terms of clothing, you can expect house hoodies, PJs, nightdresses, underwear and a large selection of bags and slippers. There are even babygrows for witches and wizards in the making.
And for those of us who know our Hogwarts Houses (Thank you Pottermore), there are special products coming in specific house colours. From Quidditch long johns, slippers and pyjamas to notebooks, coasters, socks and cushions, there are options for all, whether you’re a Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Gryffindor.
In the absence of time turners we’re going to be watching the Primark website like hawks next week because these products are sure to sell out fast.
Accio entire collection.
