This is how the Obamas spent their last night in the White House
TBH we would have done the same
TBH we would have done the same
Ah, remember the days before Donald Trump ran the the United States and Barack Obama lived in the White House?
Since leaving the White House it's safe to say the former President has been loving life. The Obamas have moved into a lovely new home, Barack Obama has a new job and Barack and Michelle went on holiday where Mr Obama proved himself to be the perfect Instagram husband. Seriously, could life be any better?
However, we still like to look back at Obama's legacy every now and then and reminisce on his funniest times in office. Despite moving out back in January, it seems that list is still growing as it has just been revealed how the Obamas spent their last night in the White House - and we're a little jealous we weren't invited for this one.
Yep, on the day before Trump's Inauguration, Malia and Sasha Obama were granted permission to host a sleepover with pizza and chicken nuggets included.
Michelle Obama made the revelation at last week's American Institute of Architecture Conference, saying: 'They had a sleepover because of course on Inauguration Day, because my girls are so normal, they're like "well eight girls are gonna be sleeping here because it's our last time, and we want pizza and we want nuggets" and it's like, really?'
What a great way to spend your last night in the White House.

Michelle also revealed the girls were very upset when it came to moving out, admitting: 'Right before the doors opened and we welcomed in the new family, our kids were leaving out the back door in tears, saying goodbye to people.'
At least the girls had a last night they'll never forget.
