Obama Deserves A Round Of Applause For His Latest Feminist Statement
All hail POTUS...
All hail POTUS...
President Obama always seems to know the right thing to say, and he's definitely hit the nail on the head with his latest comments about women in sport.
While hosting the US women's national football team at the White House, Obama said that the team, which beat Japan 5-2 at the World Cup Final in July, taught the children of America that 'playing like a girl means you're a badass'.
To much applause, Obama went on to say: 'Playing like a girl means being the best! It means drawing the largest TV audience for a soccer match - men or women's - in American history.
'It means wearing our nation's crest on your jersey, taking yourself and your country to the top of the world. That's what American women do, that's what American girls do - that's why we celebrate this team.'
Obama, we applaud you.

Obama also joked about the 2016 election, praising midfielder Carli Lloyd for scoring a hattrick during the final match and saying her performance was so exemplary, someone had changed her Wikipedia title to President of the United States.
'Which by the way, the job is about to open up,' Obama joked, adding: 'What's another candidate? I guarantee Carli knows more about being President than some of the folks who are running.'
Could that be a veiled dig at Donald Trump? We couldn't possibly comment...
