Meghan Markle’s Royal wedding plans are well underway, with the countdown to the 19 May 2018 well and truly on.
While there’s currently no confirmation on who’ll be designing Meghan’s wedding dress, what's certain is that the actress will have no worries when it comes to feeling fit and healthy on her big day.
The reason? Her workout of choice is pretty darn intense.
A longtime fan of yoga, Meghan has sworn by the exercise for years to keep her in shape both physically and mentally. Since her mother Doria is a yoga instructor, we can imagine the Suits star has some serious yogi skills under her belt.
But when it comes to sweating it out, Meghan has revealed that she likes to combine intense vinyasa yoga classes, with running and a particularly hardcore form of ‘power’ Pilates.

Talking to Women’s health UK, Meghan, explained: “My mom was a yoga instructor so that practice is in my blood. I love an intense vinyasa class - and even better if it’s blasting hip-hop and done in a dark room with candlelight. The best!
“Running has always been my form of moving meditation, which I relish because it allows me to get out of my head.”
But what of the power Pilates? Well, Meghan is a huge fan of Pilates Platinum, a small boutique studio chain based in LA, founded by her friend and personal trainer Heather Dorak.
“Pilates Platinum is hands down the best thing you could do for your body,” Meghan told Harper’s Bazaar. “There are so many workouts that you try out once and never go back to; Heather’s studio is the complete opposite.
“You keep coming back for several reasons: first off, your body changes immediately…give it two classes and you will see a difference; second, Heather is amazing — as an instructor, as a friend, she is inspiring in every way; lastly, the people in class are cool, unpretentious, and motivating…and that is a testament to Heather’s energy.”
If you’ve tried regular Pilates classes in the past, prepare to dial it up a few notches.
Pilates Platinum classes are all done on a ‘Megaformer’, which is essentially a traditional reformer machine with a few added modcons to increase the intensity of movements and the level of resistance on your muscles.
Interested? While Meghan’s class of choice hasn’t yet made its way over to British soil, the Megaformer has, and you can try it at London’s Studio Lagree, which has three locations around the city.
We’re exhausted just talking about all of that.
