‘Janet Jackson and her husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world. Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably’ her representative told People.
Janet confirmed her pregnancy in October, after speculation grew when she postponed her Unbreakable World Tour. She had previously taken to Twitter to announce that she was starting to try for a baby with Wissam, going on to explain her nesting intentions: 'We're in the second of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family so I'm going to have to delay the tour.'

'Please, if you could try and understand that it's important that I do this now.' She added: 'I have to rest up, doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.'
Janet’s older brother Jermaine showed his support, sharing ‘She'll be a great mother because she is very tough, very strict. But I tell her, “If you need any parenting skills or baby skills, let me know because I'm the best diaper changer there is on this planet, still to this day.”’
While we were obviously super psyched for Janet, some of us here at Marie Claire HQ had tickets to see her and couldn't help but feel a little sad that we would be waiting a little longer to see her live in concert. Now that baby Eissa has come into the world, we’re hoping she’ll be returning to the stage soon.
But anyway, congratulations! We'll be listening to Janet all day.
