A must for those who are, umm, resisting change

Last week, as you'll probably know, Instagram's latest app update unveiled a brand-spanking new-look logo. On its website, Instagram explained: 'The Instagram community has evolved over the past five years from a place to share filtered photos to so much more – a global community of interests sharing more than 80 million photos and videos every day. 'Our updated look reflects how vibrant and diverse your storytelling has become.' True.

However, no one could have foreseen quite how attached the world had become to the retro brown logo - and it turns out that many, many people were - nay, still are!

Twitter is about to change forever

This is the most liked Instagram picture ever However, ask and you shall receive, as the internet has provided us with a way to revert the IOS icon back to the old logo, thanks to UX (user experience) designer Juan Ramirez who has compiled a simple guide of how to revert the new change on your homescreen.

How to get your old Instagram back: 1) Move your Instagram app into a random folder. Juan added his to a folder called 'Crap'. 2) Click THIS link, but make sure you do this from your iPhone phone so it opens up in iOS Safari. 3) When the internet page opens, click on the 'share' icon (which is a square with an arrow poking out) and select 'add to homepage'.

4) When you check your icon, it should be back to the old logo. However, might we suggest not going to such trouble?!
