The most powerful female actress in Hollywood has been revealed...
Can you guess who it is?
Can you guess who it is?
This week, The Hollywood Reporter has published its list of the top 100 Most Powerful People in Entertainment, comprising of the very best creatives in the industry. But can you guess who was the highest-ranked female actress on the list?
... Jennifer Lawrence. We don't know about you, but we're really not that surprised.
The actress, aka America's sweetheart, has taken Hollywood by storm since her first Oscar nomination for Winter's Bone. Since then, she's been nominated a total of four times for her roles in Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and Joy.
The list also features big names such as Leonardo DiCaprio (the highest ranked male actor), Amy Schumer, Ellen DeGeneres, Brad Pitt and Shonda Rhimes.
J-Law is best known for her roles in the major blockbuster series X-men and The Hunger Games. She's also rumoured to be in talks to play Silicon Valley CEO, Elizabeth Holmes, in upcoming film Bad Blood.
If, for some bizarre reason you don't know J-Law for her acting accomplishments (like seriously?), then you've definitely heard about something hilarious she did or said in public. Whether she's photo-bombing on the red carpet or cracking a joke in an interview, she's without doubt one of the most relatable celebrities out there and we love her for it.

At #23 on the list, she wasn't the 'top' woman on the list (she was ranked just behind Oprah Winfrey), but she was the top female actress of the group, making her the most powerful actress in the film industry. Pretty cool if you ask us.
Congratulations J-Law, keep being you.
