It’s official! George and Amal Clooney are expecting twins - totally stealing Beyonce's thunder.
Beyonce took to Instagram last week to reveal that she's expecting twins with husband Jay Z later this year. And after what feels like weeks of ‘are they, aren’t they?’, it’s now been confirmed that George and Amal Clooney will also be welcoming in twins in 2017.
The news was (weirdly) announced on US show The Talk, with the presenter Julie Chen announcing, ‘Beyoncé is not the only superstar expecting twins. Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney!’
Apparently, said twins are arriving in June, according the the couple’s rep. That Julie Chen must be well connected indeed.
George and Amal tied the know in Venice in 2014, and these will be the couple’s first children.
In other celebrity baby news, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is also pregnant with Jason Statham’s baby.
Honestly, it’s like they’re totally trying to overshadow Bey. Although Rosie hasn't (yet) beaten Bey to the top spot for most liked Instagram photo, but that could all change.
