All hail the Gucci loafer. Yes, really.
Good news for flat shoe lovers, this throwback style is set for a big fashion comeback.
Style-wise, not much has really changed since Gucci launched the shoe way back when in the 80s. And why would it? The loafer has long had a serious fashion following, essentially making for a real investment buy.
How will we be wearing them? Any which way we can. We're swaying towards the white version, that were made for weekend wear. Team with blue wash slim-fit jeans, with an appropriate amount of frayed-edge action, and pair with a chunky grey cashmere knit. For work, we're thinking black trousers and a striped silk blouse.
So there you have it. The Horsebit loafer is back. We're pretty happy about it, and we predict this shoe to have serious staying power, and will work hard in your wardrobe for a fair few seasons to come.
Not a fan of white? No problem, for there is also snake print, black, metallics, purple, yellow, leopard print, blush - you name it, they've made it.
