When the Duchess of Cambridge donned an Alexander McQueen knitted dress yesterday, we couldn't help but get a sense of fashion deja vu...
And it was no surprise that the fashion re-run was first spotted on one of the designer's biggest fans - Sarah Jessica Parker.
The Sex and the City leading lady donned her navy blue version of the sailor style dress back in 2006, when supporting hubbie Matthew Broderick as he was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
In typical statement style, she upped the ante of her demure design by accessorising with scarlet stilettos and glossy loose locks.
Kate, meanwhile, wore the archive dress on the fifth day of her Canadian tour. The Duchess hair pulled back in a neat ponytail and matched her shoes to her dress, opting for midnight blue courts.
So there's the evidence, style fans, now we want your verdicts! Who wore it best? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below....
