We love seeing the evolution of fashion from catwalk to red carpet, and here we have not one, but two strikingly different interpretations of the same dress.

The frock, taken from the RM by Roland Mouret Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, was shown on the runway with blue oversized fanned sequins and black long sleeves.
Amanda Seyfried was first to step out in a similar design, keeping the same blue hue but opting for a strapless shape instead - which she wore to the Letters to Juliet LA premiere back in May.
Amanda let the stand-out dress do all the talking, accessorising with nothing but lace-up heels and a chunky side plait.

Just over a month later, and Kristen Stewart debuted her version of the frock, at the New York screening of Twilight Eclipse.
The starlet kept the same long-sleeved shape as the runway version, but opted for deep plum-toned sequins instead of the brighter blue.
K-Stew teamed her frock with towering black Louboutin heels, matching plum nails and her stylish new lighter locks, twisted back into a pretty plaited updo.
