The Grand Palais in Paris was transformed into a fantastical wonderland as the setting for Sonia Rykiels H&M collection debut
We knew it was going to be something of a spectacle, but WOW. Sonia Rykiel showcased her hugely-anticipated collection for H&M in Paris last night, with a huge fairytale-themed show.
And when we say huge, we mean huge.
The designer welcomed 2,000 guests including Kate Bosworth, Eva Herzigova and Jean Paul Gaultier, to her Parisian fantasyland, where they were greeted with a real visual feast.

Entering through an enchanted forest of balloon-covered trees, they were met with a vast, glittering funfair, complete with big wheel, swings and giant merry-go-round horses.
Seated under a 30-metre tall, lit-up model of the Eiffel Tower, guests watched the lingerie-clad models on floats emerge through a recreation of the Arc De Triomphe.

'I've always been a big fan of Sonia Rykiel. To me she is so feminine, and so wonderfully dramatic, like a big glittery bow on a dress,' said Kate Bosworth at the grand event. ‘It's crazy here, I wasn't expecting this. It's like a mini carnival!'
'I think it's very Sonia Rykiel to have her presentation with H&M here,' said Eva Herzigova. 'She's so Paris, and I don't think she could have had it anywhere else.'
Now watch all the drama unfold for yourself, right here!
The Sonia Rykiel for H&M collection hits stores on Saturday 5 December, followed by a knitwear collection in Feburary.
We're predicting stampedes.
