Kate Moss usually prefers to smoulder silently, and rather beautifully, in front of the lens, but she’s broken protocol and decided to speak about her new Salon Pro nail polish line for Rimmel.

The rare video interview portrays a new side to the star as she speaks about how she unwinds on holiday, Kate said: ‘I’m really good at painting [nails] and other people’s. I like doing it’s one of the things I like to do on holiday, I line up all the girls and make their nails look nice.’
As Kate Moss talks us through the various shades, the supermodel reveals what inspired her, and it’s everything from football to films.

She said: ‘For the Brit Pop [nail shade] I think of Man city and Chelsea because [the name] reminded me of football. It all came instinctively, I get inspired by a band or a film some kind of character such as Debbie Harry in Studio 54.’

And when it comes to her own nails Kate Moss knows exactly what she wants, adding: ‘I’m quite a neutral girl so I like the Soul Sensations [nail polish line] for that done but not making a statement look.’
