This designer put our fave memes on couture dresses and it’s total #mood
It's Haute Couture Fashion Week, our favourite time of year for dreamy dresses, like the tulle ballgowns at Dior and the column dresses adorned with giant bows at Georges Chakra. I say dreamy, because there's no way you could ever wear them, unless you're an actual celeb walking the red carpet.
However, Viktor and Rolf's new collection just proved much more relatable than you'd think, because the designers very cleverly embroidered our favourite memes on ethereal tulle dresses.
Think 'sorry I'm late, I didn't want to come' (we've all been there), 'I'm not shy, I just don't like you' (ditto) and 'no photos please'. Oh, and the charming 'go fuck yourself' on faux candy hearts. Divine.
These stamped on very very big tulle ballgowns that - ironically - screamed to be photographed and uploaded to social media this instant.
Naturally, the collection went down a treat, because we all need a little bit of fun in our lives, especially when January is all about our bad #mood.
Viktor and Rolf, we salute you.
