Her handbags have become some of the most coveted styles around in recent seasons, and now Victoria Beckham has a new must-have design: the Harper.
The designer, who presented her autumn/winter 2012 collection in New York this weekend to much acclaim, tweeted a picture of her latest handbag range whilst backstage – revealing that they are named after new baby daughter Harper.
With the caption ‘Meet Harper!’, the post showed three suede top handle totes with large pockets at the front and a front flap clasp. The bags come in a muted palette – perfect for slinging over your arm with your winter ensembles later this year.
With husband David making his debut on her front row, snapping away taking pictures on his camera alongside magazine editrix Anna Wintour, and new baby Harper spotted backstage, the former pop star’s show was a real family affair.
The family theme continued with the collection itself too, with son Romeo’s baseball jerseys an influence on the sporty line, which was presented in the city’s iconic Public Library building on Fifth Avenue.
Despite the eye-watering price tags placed on her bags in the past (some as much as £1,700), they still flew off the shelves. And with Victoria’s design credentials growing by the day, we’re sure they’ll be another fashion hit.
