Once at Selfridges, Victoria quickly changed into a undeniably gorgeous pleated black maxi skirt with glinting gold chain waistband teamed with a ribbed high-neck jumper, both from her own collection. Understated perfection, we love.

After signing hundreds of signatures and pleasing the hoards of in-store fans, Victoria tweeted a loving message to her hard-working team. Awwww…

But the hard work didn't end there. Rather than jump on the midnight train home, the famed designer and her team jumped in a taxi - which Victoria very kindly filled up at the petrol station…
