Tom Ford has teamed up with Justin Timberlake as part of his musical comeback for the launch of his new album, The 20/20 Experience – his first release in almost six years. The Texan designer has dressed the former boyband member, who took a break from music to try his hand at acting, in some of his smartest attire for a video for his latest single, which is fittingly called Suit & Tie and features guest vocals from Jay-Z, as well as the artwork to accompany the release.
The twosome have been working closely together on a series of bespoke tailoring – think eveningwear, shoes and accessories – that will be the 'focal point of The 20/20 Experience'. On the single's cover, Timberlake can be seen wearing a tuxedo with satin peak lapels, shirt and one of Ford's signature bow-ties, while in the official lyric video for the track, JT is shown sporting classic three-piece suits, glossy cufflinks, checked shirts and, in an apparent homage to his hero Michael Jackson, black leather loafers teamed with white ribbed socks.

Ford said of the collaboration: 'I adore Justin. He has innate style and enormous talent. It has been such a pleasure and honour to work with him throughout this entire creative process.'
It's understood that the deisgner has also created made-to-measure menswear for the singer's promotional appearances, live shows and future videos for the album, which is expected to be released later this year. A full promo for Shirt & Tie is set to see Timberlake, who hit the red carpet in a checked Tom Ford suit at this weekend's Screen Actors Guild Awards
