The V&A Museum's David Bowie exhibition is already the fastest-selling event in its history, and last night the stars came out to celebrate the launch with a private view.
Oscar-nominated actress Tilda Swinton, who appears in the iconic singer's music video for new single The Stars (Are Out Tonight), was in attendance wearing a silver jacket and tweed trousers by Haider Ackermann. She rubbed shoulders with the likes of fellow actress Rosario Dawson, who is in London to promote her new Danny Boyle-directed film Trance, hunky male model David Gandy and Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw, who were all keen to get a first glimpse of the Bowie memorabilia.
Other notable partygoers included models Laura Bailey and Pixie Geldof, rock star Noel Gallagher and actor Douglas Booth, as well as fashion stylist Caroline Sieber and designer Bella Freud – although there was no appearance from the man himself.
