We’ve had the Bayswater, then came the Alexa, and now Mulberry have launched a new must-have style: the Travel Bag.
Already seen on the arms of actresses Blake Lively, Hayley Atwell and Juno Temple, the Travel Bag collection is inspired by the retro glamour of vintage steamer trunks – think metal tipped corners and trims, and metallic logo plaques reminiscent of luggage tags.
The new line features three styles: the first two are reinterpretations of the classic best-selling Alexa satchel – the Travel Day Bag and the Oversized Travel Bag – which boast all the hallmarks of the original Alexa, such as traditional satchel straps, plaited top handles and adjustable cross-body straps.
Then there’s the Travel Camera Bag, which is based on a compact, retro cross-body style, with metal tips and practical front pockets aplenty.
All come in a new mix of leather finishes and bespoke textures, including green lizard print, shiny lambskin and two-tone animal print.
The new cult Mulberry bag? Yep, we think so.
