Teri Hatcher has turned model for her favourite design house, Badgley Mischka.
The Desperate Housewives star is a long-term fan of the designers and first wore their gowns when she starred in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. She wore one of their dresses for her first appearance at the Emmys in 1993, and most recently chose them to dress her for Eva Longoria's Paris wedding.
Speaking to WWD, the Desperate Housewives actress claimed that she was not chosen for the role for her looks, but because the designers regarded her as a multi-tasking woman. 'This is not just about couture' she said. 'It is how every woman deserves to feel beautiful.'
Photographed by Ellen Von Unwerth, the autumn/winter advertisements show Hatcher in a selection of six different outfits, ranging from evening dresses to lingerie. The images will feature in fashion magazines from next month.
