The designer has created a special 25-piece range of tees in aid of Comic Relief 2013
Last week we brought you a first look at Stella McCartney's Comic Relief T-shirts collection for T.K. Maxx, and now we can tell you that the designer has customised exclusive Red Nose Day tees to raise even more money for charity.
Like the original line, the new 25-piece range features iconic images of the likes of Kate Moss, Marilyn Monroe, Tommy Cooper and the Beatles with a fun red nose twist, but this time they have been hand-reworked to give the appearance of a well-loved, well-worn tee.
Each piece is a unqiue collector's item, which will be sold exclusively at Stella McCartney's London flagship stores from today.
STELLA MCCARTNEY LAUNCHES COMIC RELIEF T-SHIRT LINE
'When you buy a Red Nose Day T-shirt you are giving to a great and worthy charity,' Stella says. 'I wanted to go one step further and get really personal, so I customised a limited number of the T-shirts. They take you one step closer to an individual piece; while you’re giving a bit more to Comic Relief, you're receiving a bit more, so it all makes perfect sense!'
Hear, hear! An adult T-shirt costs £50, while kids' tops are £25 a pop. The mainline versions, which are stocked at T.K. Maxx stores nationwide and online, start at £9.99 and £5.99 respectively.
