Got a vegan boyfriend? We’ve got good news for you (and him). Last February, whispers made their way around the front row - yeah, we were part of them, but only because we had a hunch - that Stella McCartney was set to launch a menswear line, and yesterday Stella herself confirmed that her eponymous menswear line is officially in the works. Rumour no more.
'The new collection will take a modern approach to menswear,’ read a statement from the British fashion house, ‘encouraging seasonless wardrobing, while adhering to the brand's responsible and sustainable ethics.'Stella, who is known for her masculine tailoring and oversized silhouettes, will show the hotly anticipated line of 'fur free and leather free apparel and accessories' in London on November 10, alongside her latest women's Spring 2017 collection.
But wait, there's more. In line with the see-now-buy-now strategy that has been fervently adopted by many fashion designers – McCartney included – the collection is set to drop in stores in December, making it ideal timing for our Christmas Gifts for him edit. List sorted.
And who's to say that there won't be a few fashion pieces in the mix for you too. After all, a man's shirt always looks good in the morning.
