Stars get gothic for New Moon premiere

Gossip Girls, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and more hit the red carpet for New Moon's NY premiere
The world has gone Twilight mad: not only has New Moon mania reached fever pitch proportions - yes, fans it finally is that day - but it appears to have affected some of the most stylish stars' fashion sense as well.
With the new flick premiering in New York last night, there was a distinct gothic feel amongst the sartorial line-up.
Leading the array was Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen, who looked set for Halloween in an ankle-grazing black lace dress, patent booties and a blood red pout. A ghostly complexion and smudged eye make-up only added to the effect.
But her bid for the evening's title of gothic heroine faced fierce competition from a certain Brit - Agyness Deyn. The supermodel channelled Miss Haversham chic in a lace blouse, tiered skirt and over-the-knee boots, although it was that eye-grazing black bob that really set off the goth glam get-up.
On a prettier vibe, Alexa Chung was another all-black, in a full-skirted minidress with tiered skirt and black opaques.
In comparison, the typically grungy Kristen Stewart ditched the edgy styling for a chic olive green ruffled dress. The leading lady wore her hair high in an elegant updo, and eschewed all accessories, to let her frock take the focus.

She was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Robert Pattinson, in a Dolce & Gabbana suit, and a D&G clad Taylor Lauter, but like the LA premiere, Stewart was careful not to be photographed with her rumoured beau.
We guess you'll have to pop to your local cinema if you want to see Pattinson and Stewart cuddling up anytime soon then. The film is out now!
