Shown in the beautiful Royal Horticultural Halls Paul Smith did what he does best, well-mannered Tailoring. It was a pleasure to watch, cool boy clothes for girls……upbeat and easy to wear.
With the Tomboy look still having a moment Paul Smith is still on the right note.
Models with pulled back hair and kohl black lined eyes oozed confidence and cool as they walked the runway…. cropped trousers with zip details at the back of the ankle gave an edge, especially when teamed with patent leopard ankle boots.
Double collar grey jackets, delicate olive + blue roll necks and checked knits are staple for everyone, whilst styling details such as dogtooth socks and Raspberry Trilbies mean you can add individuality.
Bows on Brogues and wild flowers embroidered onto a black jacket gave subtle femininity. The Pyjama trend was still visible here with wrapped silk dressing gowns casually tied at the waist.
A pencil skirt in wine silk stripes, and luxe Panne Velvet fitted suit are on my shopping list. Oh and a pair of flat brogues, the ones with the fluro trim please.
