Marie Claire unveils ALL of the Roland Mouret for Banana Republic pieces for the first time
Can’t wait for Roland Mouret’s much-hyped Banana Republic collection to land in stores in just a few weeks? Well good news - it's now time to start making your shopping list - as for the first time Marie Claire can reveal pictures of every single piece in the range.
All of the designer’s signatures (perfect cuts, ‘magic fit’ fabrics and splices of colour and leopard print) are present in the 25 piece line, but this time their prices start at just £45. Click through the gallery above to see all of the images.
Mouret's trademark dresses are sure to sell-out priced at £99.50 (about a tenth of their usual tag) while his perfectly tailored jackets start from just £89. The range includes classic LBDs, paneled jersey dresses and sharp pencil skirts – all of which make for perfect date-night outfits and office-wear alike.
Mouret’s trademark 'Galaxy' dress, first designed in 2006, has been worn by everyone from Victoria Beckham to Dita Von Teese and prompted thousands of copycat versions when his body-con look took hold of the noughties.
"Partnering with Banana Republic on this project was such an adventure for me," Roland said when he first announced the collaboration back in April. "The common goal for this collection is to offer incredible fit through an assortment of hourglass silhouettes using Banana Republic's Sloan fabric, extending my love of structure into accessible prices. These pieces are multi-functional for the modern woman to wear and accessorize in her own way, making her always ready for life's journey."
Banana Republic’s previous collaborators have included Issa London and the late L'Wren Scott’s eponymous line.
