For many of us, the weekend will consist of a spot of online shopping.
Cosy cable knit? Get in the basket. Bomber jacket? Sure. But as you browse the online rails for new season buys, you may well notice you are not alone. You may feel another pair of eyes shopping with you, desperately pleading to get something of their own into the basket.
Now look down at your feet and witness your dog looking up at you, seething with silent rage as you add yet another item into your ‘saved’ list.
Yes, your dog is a secret shopping addict, whose habit needs to be appeased.
Thankfully, River Island know this for a fact, and have launched a new fashion range exclusively for dogs, so now you can both shop together and make that human/canine bond even stronger, in matching cable knit.
Called RI DOG, the 8-piece collection is essentially a line up of the new AW16 fashion trends, made four-legged friendly. We’re talking cable knits, bomber jackets (the essential cover-up of the season), collars and slogan tees all of which come in sizes small, medium and large (we can practically hear the collective sigh of relief from all the Labradors out there).

Suffice to say, we want it all. In every size. For every dog we see.
In fact, if you don't have a dog, we suggest stocking up on the range anyway and wait until you're adult enough to look after one properly.
RI DOG will be available in selected River Island stores and online at Riverisland.com very soon, with prices ranging from £10 to £18. And on behalf of all the dogs out there, we would like to remind you all that Christmas is just around the corner...
