Rihanna has bagged herself a new fashion campaign, as she teams up with her favourite folk at Balmain.
Unveiling the first pictures on Balmain's Instagram, Rihanna will front the coveted fashion house’s spring/summer 2014 campaign.
RiRi’s love of Balmain is no secret amongst the fashion pack, with her wardrobe boasting all kinds of glorious on and off-stage outfits by the Parisian label.
Just last week we spotted the Diamonds star in a quilted leather jumpsuit by the designer brand, while on tour she put her spin on Balmain’s signature bodycon with structured shoulders.
Now, photographer by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in New York, Rihanna has blown our minds in an Eighties-inspired collection.
Mixing up ladylike lace and light pink shades with chunky gold bling, there’s no doubting Rihanna is a perfect fit for the label’s SS14 collection.

‘In front of the camera, she makes you feel like she is the only girl in the world,’ Oliver Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director, told WWD. ‘When the woman that inspires you wears your creations, your vision feels complete.’
And we happen to agree.
Whether Rihanna is your style icon or not, there’s no denying the impact of this gorgeous shoot. Let us know what you think in the comments box below…
