Rachel Bilson launches new fashion line
Rachel Bilson unveiled her first fashion line, Edie Rose, at Macy's in Florida this weekend.
As a regular on the world's best dressed lists, the OC actress's collection for DKNY has been eagerly anticipated amongst the style set, and she turned up for the launch looking suitably chic in a bowler hat, white shirt, black tie and blazer, and a pair of skinny blue jeans.
Standing amongst models decked out in the line, Bilson revealed the collection, which features jeans, casual dresses, jackets in denim and leather, and tailored blazers. Predominantly monochrome, flashes of daffodil yellow brightened up the line-up, in the form of narrow belts and a bright summer sun dress.
Speaking at the launch, the actress told waiting press, 'I want people to see these clothes for what they are, not just another line designed by another celebrity. I want the line to be taken seriously.'
The collection will sell in US stores, Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom, with prices starting at $19.50.
