We're Getting Spring Ready: Polo Ralph Lauren

We're getting spring ready; and we're doing it in head-to-toe POLO..

We sat in ore as we watched the Polo Ralph Lauren catwalk show (or should we say spectacle!) at New York fashion week back in September which took the fashion industry by storm being the first ever 4D fashion show. At last, the wait is over as the Spring collection hits the stores all around the world. 

The Spring collection was a mix of every day street style looks; of which we took a journey from monochrome to through to acid brights. Opening with a nautical moment the clothes had a boy-ish edge via tailored shorts and shirt. Lace elements that ran though ensured Polo still hit all the lady-like high notes. We're still obsessing over the black bomber jacket that opened the show which instantly went to the top of our Spring shopping list. 

Our eyes popped at what was to come next as the runway was a wash with acid brights. Colour blocked separates have been teamed with contrast accessories and we can't get enough. True to Lauren's signature style he dazzled with oversized shirts, cargo pants and sporty puffer jackets over bikini's. Hello dreamy Spring-time look! 

The final part of the collection showcased the designers love affair for American Southwest, and a huge creditation to the 70's and hippy trend which we are totally obsessed with for this season. We drooled over an abundance of fringing, tooled leather and multi-coloured striped fabrics. Accessories channelled elements of tribal with metal-hard wear belts and cuffs and what resembled hand-made coloured stone necklaces. 

We're ecstatic that finally; we can get our mits on these hero spring pieces. But what's your Polo style!? Are you channelling Parisian street vibes; or are you getting festival ready with layers of mixed fabrics and vibrant colours.
