Kenzo’s Jungle Book collection has landed
And, oh wow, we want it all.
And, oh wow, we want it all.
Kenzo’s limited edition The Jungle Book collection lands in stores today and, oh wow, we really want it all.
Celebrating the live action re-make of the iconic Disney movie, which hits cinemas next week, the storied fashion house have given all our favourite characters a designer twist, working them into vivid new prints on dresses, shirts and streetwear alike.
Re-imagining Kenzo’s hit tiger sweatshirts (you know, the ones that caused a street style phenomenon when they launched back in 2013?) Shere Khan’s face is now doodled proudly on the front of tees and jumpers – all pretty genius, we think.
In some of the more detailed prints, Kenzo’s typically trippy floral prints get a jungle-ready twist, with new tropical plants and characters like Mowgli, Bagheera the panther, King Louie the orangutan, Hathi the elephant, Baloo the bear and Akela the wolf all making appearances.
The line comprises of 40 pieces in total - 21 womenswear and 19 menswear – with prices starting at £85 for tees and maxing at £440 for that reversible dress.
See every single piece in the gallery above.

Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the joint creative directors of Kenzo, delved into the Disney archives to discover some of the original sketches from the 1967 animated film, but were also able to revisit their own brand’s heritage to inspire the designs.
‘If you know about Kenzo’s history, you know that Kenzo Takada started a line called Jungle Jap,’ designer Carol Lim told WWD. ‘The tiger, all the references that he made led us to collaborate with Disney. We looked at the archival drawings of ‘The Jungle Book’ as well as the new imagery and our tiger. We did a beautiful print mixing all these elements together. We put it on beautiful dresses, jackets, denim, jersey, sweatshirts — a bunch of different things.’
With so many fashion collaborations out there to choose from, it’s often hard to sort the good stuff from the fluff. But we genuinely think that Kenzo x The Jungle Book is a perfect fashion pairing - and a future collector's dream worth investing in today.
