Actress-turned-designer twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are expanding their fashion empire and heading into the fragrance business, collaborating with cosmetics giant Sephora to release a scent under their Elizabeth and James label this spring.
OLSEN TWINS' STYLEMINT COLLECTION LAUNCHES IN UK
According to WWD, the duo, who previously entered the fragrance market with a line of body sprays, are debuting their first perfume as part of their Elizabeth and James label with Sephora this March. This marks the sisters' first foray back into fragrance since they first started designing their simple, luxe basics in 2007.
'We look forward to bringing the modern perspective and fashion philosophy of Elizabeth and James designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to life with this prestige fragrance,' Michael McGeever, senior vice president of Sephora Originals, told WWD.
Mary-Kate and Ashley debuted their S/S 2013 collections for labels The Row and Elizabeth and James this week at New York Fashion Week to rave reviews, and they took home the top prize - Womenswear Designer of the Year - at the 2012 CFDA Awards for The Row.
