Who better then the Italians to show us street-style at its chic-est. Here's our round-up from day one at Milan Fashon Week
After the big freeze in NYC came London Fashion Week; next stop, it's Milan. If there's one thing the Italians know it's fashion, so read on to see three of the most stylish people we spotted on a Day 1. Bring on the glitz.
1. Paola Bonazzi, Fashion Director at Italian Glamour
Follow Paola's lead and team camel with black, an easy way to update your look and ease yourself into spring. Nothing says SS15 like a little colour after all. If you're feeling bold, try wearing the whole look from head to toe! Back to Paola, though, this is a lesson in chic classic dressing. You might think that throwing leopard print into the mix would be a step too far, but stick to a neutral leopard in the same colour family and it keeps the whole outfit looking modern and oh-so Italian. The flat of the season – the Gucci loafer (yes, they're back, people) – adds a cute retro spin. Finally, layer up with lashings of gold jewellery: Paola's chunky Chloé ring is to-die-for, but try & Other Stories for a friendlier, high-street priced jewels.

2. Tamara Kalinic, Fashion Blogger at The Glam And a Glitter
Interesting colour combo? Tick. Pleats? Tick. Florals? Tick, and Chanel? Huge tick. Fashion blogger Tamara has it all going on but keeps it cool with understated accessories. Essentially let the coat do the talking and team with pieces that won't fight against it. Wear with block-coloured separates or make a statement and team with stripes on your lower half. It's a huge trend on the high street this summer and always looks so fresh teamed with florals. FYI, Oasis has a multitude of stripy skirts this season to choose from. We love Tamar's styling trick of belting the bold sweater, a simple way to show off a tiny waist and play with your proportions. As Tamara has, keep the belt to a one- to two-inch wide style for the most flattering look. Anything wider can take this look into a whole other arena… eek. Look out for criss-cross detail ties on heels this summer to elevate the humble black court. Talk about a sexy shoe, gals! Finished off with a Chanel bag, you really can't go wrong. Winning.

3. Irina Likicevic, Norwegian Fashion Blogger
The trick to wearing something as bold as the Ellery top Irina is sporting is to follow her lead and go coatless! Or if you must, shoulder-robe it with a oversized coat. A skinny-fit coat would have ruined the line of the sleeve, it's all about the dramatic silhouette, ladies – so you must show it off. Bravo Irina!
Styling tip two, bring out your old 501s. I mean, if they look this good, why did we ever stop wearing them? Roll up your hem a couple of times, but make sure you keep it a slim turn-up, which is a more elegant take on the turn-up and works perfectly with a sexy shoe. Finally, that sexy shoe… the mule. If you haven't tried the shoe of the season yet, dive in. They were all over the catwalks for SS15 and have hit the high street too.
