Black Swan star Mila Kunis is the French label's new poster girl toting the latest Miss Dior handbag
She’s already an award-winning actress with a blossoming film career, and now Mila Kunis has cemented her fashion darling status by bagging the new Christian Dior campaign.
The Black Swan star has been named as the new face of the luxury French label for spring/summer 2012 and will appear in the forthcoming Miss Dior handbag ads.
The advertising pictures, taken in New York by photographer Mikael Jansson, show the Ukraine-born actress dressed mostly in black with the bags in a series of dreamy shots.
The Arnault family, which owns Christian Dior as part of its luxury goods conglomerate LVMH, is clearly a fan of last year’s psychological ballet thriller Black Swan, with Mila’s co-star Natalie Portman currently the poster girl for the fashion house’s Miss Dior Cherie fragrance.
Dior’s deputy general Delphine Arnault told WWD: ‘Mila Kunis is a very talented young actress; she embodies the true modern woman. Her performance in Black Swan was remarkable. She is very gifted.'

While Mila said in a statement: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with Dior. The brand is iconic in so many ways. It defines fashion, elegance and sophistication.'
The latest signing continues Dior’s longstanding association with Hollywood stars – Oscar-winners Marion Cotillard and Charlize Theron are also faces of the brand – and certainly gets the thumbs up from us. We can’t wait to see Mila in Dior when she hits the red carpet this awards season!
