Meghan Markle attended the Golden Globes in 2013 and she wore this

Who doesn't love a good throwback? And as the 2019 Golden Globes are almost upon us, I thought it would be appropriate to dig out this picture of the Duchess of Sussex from the awards in 2013.
Of course, before she was a royal, Meghan Markle was quite a big deal in Hollywood thanks to her role in Suits, meaning she made quite a few red carpet appearances.
And although she didn't attend the actual Golden Globes awards that year, she did go to the after-party, opting for a dress that would definitely break royal protocol, as it's *shock horror* over the knee.
The sequinned mini dress featured long sleeves with lace cuffs, and she accessorised it with a silver Prada clutch bag and black patent Louboutin pumps.
Although her style has changed a little since she married Prince Harry, she was already sporting her signature low bun, dark nails and natural make-up then.
I'm not going to lie, I'd love it if the Duchess made a special appearance like she did at the Fashion Awards, but something tells me she might be a little too busy to do so.
