Meghan Markle has been out and about this week, and at a charity event, she was spotted wearing a delicate pair of pearl and diamond earrings.

Now although the Duchess has a lot of jewellery, including this ring that belong to Princess Diana, this particular set seems to have a special meaning to her.

She chose them to wear during her first official public outing post-wedding, a day out with the Queen.

The earrings were actually a gift from her Majesty, to commemorate their first outing just the two of them. It's thought she selected them from her personal collection especially for Meghan, which is super touching.

The Duchess has since worn them a few times, including to the polo with Prince Harry.

The earrings are also thought to be a subtle nod to Princess Diana, who had a very similar pair.
